Nowadays Lebanon is known for its beautiful people, a lively nightlife scene and its open mindedness, But those who were born before the ’60s still equate the word “Lebanon” with chaos, destruction and grief.
The people of Lebanon endured a brutal history that till today they never got to terms with, (15) years of civil war have left more than (100.000) people dead and almost a million displaced, At the same time the very people that fuelled and murdered thousands in the civil war are today sitting in government buildings in Beirut, wearing expensive suits pretending the bloodshed never happened.
When will this country finally be liberated from the warlords that are governing it for the last 50 years? When will the Lebanese people have enough of being the proxy for foreign forces and their invented conflicts?
